As part of this year’s 16 days of activism for the White Ribbon Campaign with RCT, WHAG shall be hosting an Anti-Harassment Bystander Training session with the Suzy Lamplugh Trust. During a discussion about violence against women and girls (VAWG), it was shared that some are reluctant to intervene should they witness harassment out of fear for their own safety. This training session is to provide people of all genders the knowledge on how to intervene safely should they witness someone being harassed.
The event will take place on Thursday 5 December at 12pm at the Rochdale Masonic Hall. As it has been funded by L’oreal, it is free for all attendees. This invite is open to the public, so please feel free to share with anyone that you think would benefit from it.
