Our 17-week Free from Harm course is based in our Rochdale office and aims to help participants gain more knowledge around domestic abuse, feel safer and able to risk-assess situations, have improved self-esteem, feel empowered, increase their resilience, and feel less isolated. Free From Harm is run by Jenny Miller (Domestic Abuse Manager), Sue Smith (Domestic Abuse Project Worker/Advocate), Hannah MacMartin (Project Coordinator), and Gerry Birtles (Domestic Abuse Project Worker).

- Introduction and Awareness, Orientation, Genograms, Initial Evaluation, Goals. Session 3 - Childhood Experiences - How We Were Parented, Looking At My Responsibilities - What Kind of Mother Am I? Session 5 - Warning Signs, Unhealthy Relationships, Affection VS Abuse. Session 7 - Understanding Jealousy, Understanding Obsession. Session 9 - What is Digital Abuse? Indecent Images - 'Revenge Porn'. Session 11 - The Law and Domestic Abuse - Offences and Orders. Session 13 - Improving Communication Skills - Assertive Over Aggressive.
