Every year RCT collect donations to provide Christmas hampers and shoe boxes for the people we work with who are in the greatest need.
|
We ask our supporters to donate any items they can that are suitable to add to our hamper appeal. In 2024 we did our popular “Lovely Ladies” shoebox appeal. This was to support the vulnerable women we work with who for one reason or another do not have children living with them. We asked for donations of small gift like items such as body sprays, candle's, gloves, hairbrushes, soaps, stationary items; small gifts; biscuits, sweets and deodorants that we can place into a shoebox, wrap and distribute. Christmas cards were also added to help them feel special at a time of year that is incredibly difficult for them.
